Camco executed a comprehensive wireline logging program for the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) in an exploration well in the Hamada area, delivering a full suite of formation evaluation and reservoir characterization services to support subsurface analysis and informed decision-making.
The program covered conventional and advanced wireline services, including Triple Combo logging, high-resolution borehole imaging, monopole and dipole sonic measurements, pressure testing and formation fluid sampling (DFA), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP). These services were deployed within a structured data acquisition workflow designed to ensure high-quality data across varying formation conditions, enabling accurate formation evaluation and identification of productive intervals and sweet zones.
Execution was supported by continuous real-time monitoring, on-site data processing, and rapid interpretation, allowing immediate validation of data quality and efficient operational adjustments. Camco’s Geoscience team worked in close coordination with AGOCO’s exploration team, integrating petrophysical analysis, reservoir insights, and logging data to enhance subsurface understanding and support timely decision-making.
The combined workflow improved operational efficiency, optimized time and cost, and delivered high-quality datasets across all logging intervals. The results reinforced the value of coordinated formation evaluation services in reducing uncertainty, improving reservoir characterization, and enabling more effective exploration outcomes.
