Camco and ESP Ltd at the Libya-Africa International Gas Forum 2025

Recently, Edgo group companies Camco and ESP Ltd participated in the Libya-Africa International Gas Forum (LAIGF) 2025, held at the Rixos Al Nasr Conference Centre in Tripoli.

Senior representatives from Camco and ESP Ltd took part as invited contributors, representing Edgo’s operations and expertise within Libya’s energy sector. The forum was hosted by Libya’s Ministry of Oil and Gas (MOG) and the National Oil Corporation (NOC), in partnership with the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) and IN-VR, with S&P Global serving as Strategic Partner.

The event brought together African energy ministers, senior government officials, investors, EPC contractors, and technology providers. It also provided an opportunity for Camco and ESP Ltd’s leadership teams to engage with international oil companies (IOCs), including new entrants exploring investment opportunities in Libya’s oil and gas market.

Discussions throughout the forum focused on advancing gas production across Africa, securing financing for strategic gas projects, and developing midstream and downstream infrastructure to enhance regional connectivity. Additional sessions addressed upstream exploration and production, basin development, and the role of technology in improving operational flexibility and performance.

A central theme of LAIGF 2025 was positioning Libya as a strategic energy link between Africa and Europe, with an emphasis on strengthening energy security through expanded gas capacity and infrastructure development. The forum served as a high-level platform for dialogue on investment readiness and regional cooperation across the gas value chain.

Camco and ESP Ltd’s participation reflects their continued engagement in industry forums shaping the future of energy in Libya and the wider region. Through active contribution to sector discussions, Edgo group companies remain focused on supporting sustainable energy development and long-term value creation across their markets.
