Camco Hold Workshop for Sarir Oil Operations

The Camco team were delighted to host Sarir Oil Operations (SOO) this week for a whole day workshop at the Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli, Libya. During the workshop, Camco showcased the advanced technology they use to manage the challenging conditions they often face in Libyan oilfields. Drawing on their in-depth and lengthy experience in Libya, the Camco team presented a number of case studies highlighting their expertise in seal and casing integrity and their capabilities in onshore fields. In attendance from SOO were their Technical and Production manager, Reservoir manager, senior Well Services manager, Drilling and Workover manager and members of their technical team who shared with Camco the challenges they face with their fields. The teams discussed advanced openhole and petrophysical analysis for SOO’s upcoming drilling campaign and how to manage their old wells and depleted reservoirs. Sarir Oil Operations is a joint venture between Libya’s National Oil Corporation and Wintershall Dea.
