Camco and TGT Advance Well Integrity Capabilities for Libya’s Energy Sector

Aberdeen, UK – November 26 to 28, 2025 – Camco and TGT Diagnostics convened a technical workshop for the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and representatives from several leading Libyan operating companies.

The workshop brought together technical teams for an in depth look at well integrity challenges in Libyan fields and the diagnostic practices used to understand and manage them. Discussions focused on integrity evaluation workflows, production and well performance diagnostics, and case studies from both Libyan and international operations. The sessions demonstrated how advanced diagnostic technologies are applied in the field and how they help operators make clearer and more confident decisions.

The program also examined reservoir performance, barrier verification, leakage investigation and remediation planning, showing how well integrity diagnostics contribute to safer operations and more reliable long-term production. Over the three days, participants reviewed a range of issues commonly encountered in Libyan assets, including complex integrity conditions, re-entry and workover planning, barrier validation, annular pressure concerns, multi string integrity and flow related uncertainties.

Participants contributed actively throughout the workshop, sharing field experience, raising practical questions, and comparing approaches across different operating environments. This level of engagement fostered constructive technical dialogue and meaningful knowledge exchange among all attendees.

As one of the leading service providers in Libya’s energy sector, Camco continues to strengthen its support for operators through its collaboration with global diagnostic experts such as TGT Diagnostics, Camco’s channel partner, delivering advanced expertise and solutions that enhance the long-term performance of Libya’s producing assets.
