Camco Organizes Technical Visit for Waha Oil Company to Baker Hughes Celle Technology Center

Camco recently organized a technical visit for the Waha Oil Company (WOC) drilling team to the Baker Hughes Celle Technology Center (CTC) in Germany, as part of Camco’s ongoing support for operational excellence and knowledge sharing within the energy sector.

The visit focused on advanced Directional Drilling and Measurement While Drilling (MWD) and Logging While Drilling (LWD) technologies. The program included in-depth technical presentations and a guided tour of the manufacturing and assembly facilities, providing participants with direct exposure to how key drilling technologies are developed and manufactured.

During the visit, the WOC delegation gained detailed insights into downhole motors, AutoTrak rotary steerable systems (RSS), and Measurement While Drilling (MWD) / Logging While Drilling (LWD) tools such as AziTrak and VisiTrak. Camco stands among only two non-Baker Hughes companies worldwide that own and operate the VisiTrak system, a distinction that enables it to offer clients unmatched technical knowledge and practical experience in this technology. The sessions highlighted the design, manufacturing processes, and practical field applications of these technologies.

This technical engagement enhanced the drilling team’s understanding of advanced downhole solutions and supported WOC’s daily drilling operations by strengthening technical awareness and practical knowledge aligned with field requirements.
