Camco Petroleum Services Inc. will now be providing the latest in Cased-Hole Formation Evaluation technology following the signing of an agreement with Baker Hughes, a General Electric company (BHGE) to provide its Reservoir Performance Monitoring (RPM) service in Libya.
will start providing the RPM service to its clients in Libya in the coming months. As one of the most experienced and established oilfield service providers in the country, the teams at Camco will undergo a training program in RPM and will be backed by expert technical support from BHGE, the world’s first and only full-stream company.
BHGE’s Reservoir Performance Monitor service is a form of Cased-Hole Formation Evaluation which differentiates between water-bearing and hydrocarbon-bearing formations to identify bypassed or partially drained areas of the reservoir. The use of RPM technology will optimize the efficiency of the well and help to prevent premature well or field abandonment.
