Edgo’s Chief Operating Officer, Nidal Karyouti, joined a panel of industry experts at Baker Hughes’ On Demand Solutions “Walking the Talk Growth’ event at ADIPEC 2023. The event showcased Baker Hughes’ (BH) success stories with strategic partners; Camco offers drilling services in Libya using BH’s industry leading technology.
During the event, Nidal outlined the success of Camco’s drilling services in Libya, particularly in its work with Akakus, where by integrating BH’s drilling bit portfolio into the operation, Camco were able to deliver a well section two days early, compared with offset wells. He highlighted how, since working with BH, Camco had seen the benefit of combining multiple segments, making it easier for service companies to deal with one provider and drive a more seamless approach to well construction. Camco exclusively offers onshore drilling services in Libya using BH’s directional drilling technology, as well as MWD and LWD services to national oil companies offshore Libya.
